The principle of Offline marketing is like online marketing tool. Both methods aim to spread the good news about their business opportunity and product throughout their target market. One of the best ways to spread your business is by knowing the people around you. A huge percentage and the most effective of advertising around is the “word of mouth” that will be delivered by these people you’ve associated with.
Online marketing may involve taking active part in online groups and forums. On the other hand, offline marketing involves taking an active and genuine role in your local community. The purpose of the latter is to improve your connection and relationship with people who will serve as effective agents that may make or break you—depending on how you associate with them.
So how can you conduct your offline marketing?
There are two methods: One that involves money and another involves establishing good relationships with people and good prospecting skills. You may advertise about your business at local event, fairs, But then again, like I said, this involves a huge chunk of money. And for those who are just starting out, this may not be a good idea.
Marketing and Prospecting Involves not just knowledge and kill, but creativity and resourcefulness as well. Lack of cash must not stop you from doing what you need to do. Brainstorm ideas and explore strategies and techniques to market your business. Take every situation an opportunity to attract downlines and clients.
Restaurants are example of good places to meet quality people. And who are these quality people that I’m talking about? Are they your fellow customers? Maybe. But it’s difficult to approach these people while they’re eating their heart out. That would be rude and you don’t want to market yourself like that. I’m actually talking about your waiters and waitresses. These are not your regular people. They are the hard-working individuals whom you need inside your business. Think about it, they have to deal with people all day long; they have to have a good personality; they are mostly entrepreneur-minded because they have to live off on tips.
So what should you do? Or how would you approach them? Easy. After a sumptuous dinner, don’t forget to compliment your waiter or waitress for the good service he or she has rendered (Note: Don’t compliment someone who trashed your meal in front of you. Let’s not go there). Afterwhich, drop the question: “Do you keep your options open when it comes to making additional money?” And trust me when I say that 99% of the people who have heard this question will say YES! At this point, tell your waiter or waitress that you have a business opportunity the he or she needs to check out. Leave a good impression by handing her 100-dollar bill dropcard with a good and decent tip. If she’s willing, you may also ask for her number and promise to give her a call at any time of her convenience.
Warning: Do not pitch them your business while they are working. That is disrespectful. You don’t want to disturb their work.
Now, is that so hard? I don’t think so.
Explore strategies and marketing techniques that are free and up for grabs for anyone who is creative and imaginative enough to use it. Think outside the box because success in marketing is not solely designed for rich people, it is for everyone who knows how to utilize his environment to his advantage. Through this, you’re not only helping your business but other people as well. How’s that for a good “word-of-mouth”?
